Consultancy Services
- DoAA will invite ITB to provide professional technical inputs on a project-by-project basis. The technical inputs may include conducting pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, detail designs, supervision and technical review of projects.
- DoAA will also look into the possibility of appointing ITB as a consultant for the integrated feasibility study and detail design of supplementary irrigation for the rain-fed pilot paddy schemes in Lubok Gusi in Tutong, Selapon in Temburong and Lot Senkuang in Kuala Belait.

Collaborative Research
- Collaborative research may take place between ITB and DoAA on engineering-related issues encountered by DoAA in their on-going projects.
- Where possible ITB may also advise/collaborate/involve in the short and long-term planning of DoAA Research and Development plans.
- Joint technical papers may be published based on the research results and findings undertaken jointly by DoAA and ITB. These may form part of reports or dissertations of DoAA staff pursuing academic programmes in ITB.
Industry-Academic Linkage
- Suitable DoAA staff to be invited to deliver lectures in ITB in topics and modules that will be mutually decided by the participants.
- Joint supervision of ITB final year projects in the areas of mutual interest.
- Visits to ongoing DoAA’s project sites by ITB students.
DoAA offering industrial attachment places to ITB students undergoing the Supervised Work Experience and ITB Extended components of their academic programmes.
